AUSTRALIAN WILDLIFE CONSERVANCY – AUSTRALIA

Australian Wildlife Conservancy (AWC) is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to the conservation of Australia’s threatened wildlife and habitats. AWC owns 23 properties covering more than 3 million hectares, making it the largest non-government organisation in Australia in terms of land managed for conservation. More than 1200 native animal species are protected on the AWC estate including more than 67% of all Australian mammal species and more than 80% of all bird species. Find out more…

 

 

COSTA RICAN AMPHIBIAN RESEARCH CENTER – COSTA RICA

The C.R.A.R.C. reserve has a large percentage of its area in “healthy” old-growth forest, but upon a closer look one can find evidence of invasive species, and human disturbance in certain areas.  We have dedicated much time and resources trying to restore certain parts of the reserve, and in doing so increase the vigor of the flora and fauna.  Find out more…
