WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?

Volunteers are here to clean cages and feed animals in the wildlife hospital

HOW LONG CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR?

We prefer to recruit volunteers that can stay for a reasonable length of time, as there is a quite a lot of training involved

Daily shifts are:

9am – 1pm

1pm – 6pm

6pm – 10 pm

7 days a week. We ask volunteers to take one regular shift each week, and then can do as many shifts as they want after that.

No qualifications required

WHAT LANGUAGE WILL I NEED TO KNOW?

English

HOW DO I GET TO YOUR LOCATION?

London Heathrow then public transport/drive

ARE THERE ANY COSTS INVOLVED TO VOLUNTEER?

£10 towards cost of volunteer insurance policy

WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION, MEALS AND FACILITIES CAN I EXPECT TO BE AVAILABLE TO ME?

No accommodation or meals provided.  Rest area facilities with free tea & coffee!

WHAT WILDLIFE SPECIES ARE THERE?

Badgers, Foxes, Birds of Prey, Hedgehogs and Deer

WHAT ATTRACTIONS CAN I EXPERIENCE DURING FREE-TIME?

Shifts are only 4 or 5 hours long, these are not full time volunteering opportunities
