RESCUEINK

WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?

Rescue Ink accepts volunteers both for our shelter in Long Beach, NY and for our Outreach Program. Volunteers may choose whether they wish to work in the shelter, in outreach, or both. Shelter volunteers work under the Shelter Director’s supervision to provide care for the animals including walking dogs, playing with cats, cleaning the facility, and other needs that change daily. Outreach volunteers work under the Outreach Director’s supervision and attend tabling events and other community events to share the Rescue Ink mission through education.

IN CONCLUSION

Rescue Ink is dedicated to battling animal abuse and neglect, and providing education about the mistreatment of animals. But don’t be fooled…Rescue Ink isn’t your typical rescue organization. These tough-talking tattooed bikers aren’t afraid to use their verbal muscle-power to take the fight against animal abuse to the next level, within the boundaries of the law. Rescue Ink is different because we take direct action against animal abuse and neglect.
