WHAT WILL BE EXPECTED OF ME?
Volunteers will be responsible for cleaning after the Pandas which includes: sweeping the enclosures, picking up Panda poop, preparing Panda bread, possibly feeding the Pandas, and anything else the keepers may need.
HOW LONG CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR?
Volunteers can volunteer for as long or as short amount of time as they want. There is no limit.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS, IF ANY, DO I REQUIRE?
Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older and everyone needs to be in generally good health. All volunteers will be required to fill out a medical form prior to arriving at the Panda reserve.
WILL I NEED TO KNOW ANOTHER LANGUAGE?
There are no language requirements but most of the keepers can only speak Chinese. The people in charge of the volunteer center can speak some English.
HOW DO I GET TO THE VOLUNTEER SITE?
Volunteers will need to fly to Chengdu and then take a bus to the Bifengxia Panda reserve.

WHAT TYPE OF ACCOMMODATION, MEALS AND FACILITIES CAN I EXPECT TO BE AVAILABLE TO ME?
All accommodations, meals, and facilities need to be coordinated by the volunteer. There are several hotels in the area from which to choose from but volunteers may need to contact a travel agency to set up their accommodations.

WHAT ATTRACTIONS CAN I EXPERIENCE DURING FREE-TIME?
Volunteers are allowed to wander around the reserve and observe all of the Pandas at the reserve and take as many photos as they would like.
