HOW LONG CAN I VOLUNTEER FOR?
From a few days to three months
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS, IF ANY, DO I REQUIRE?
There are many needs in the reserve, so any person can help and support this conservation project with their work. We usually ask people to send their curriculum and volunteer form, so I can analyze it to propose a potential project according to their time available, equipment available and their profile. It is important that this project will be their responsibility to finish it by the time they leave.
WHAT LANGUAGE WILL I NEED TO KNOW?
It depends of the type of project that will be assigned
HOW DO I GET TO YOUR LOCATION?
By public bus US$6 or semi private transportation ($25) to Monteverde, private transportation to la Tigra de San Carlos US$150

WHAT ATTRACTIONS CAN I EXPERIENCE DURING FREE-TIME?
Monteverde: visit other reserves in the area, spending time in the community, canopy, snake garden, frog ponds, butterflies, Sky trek.
La Tigra de San Carlos: spend time with families, in the communities. Or travel to Fortuna (Arenal Volcano) during the weekend.
I am a very active person, I come up with ideas all the time, and I enjoy the time with volunteers, creating and improving ideas for the benefit of the organization.
